"Othila" is a time of great change in the Cycle of Initiation. Paths are now directed by one's Hamingja (the family "oversoul" and protector). Possessions are attributed to "Othila". Claim them proundly as your birthright.

Pay little attention to the ways of the past, they might not serve the needs of the now. Have concern not only for what affects you, but how it affects those around you also.

the Coming of Change

Being the first in the Cycle of Initiation, "ansuz" is the coming of change. It may arrive in many forms. If it comes in the form of sacred knowledge, embrace it and understand. Beware the pranks of the chaos lords, and always expect the unexpected.

With the begining of change comes a burden. Sometimes this leads to disorientation. Relax, what is occurring has and will again. It is a natural process and will move forth. It is a time to break down the old.
