Poetry by Dylan O'Mahoney
Joanna
The world reeks of her smell
Joanna's eyes are closed
Black man revolts
She does not know her sons
She screams of injustice
White man conquer all
Children die on streets
Black man conquer all
Who's side is God on
White man conquer all
Revolution, Revoltution dying in
the gutter
Revoltuion, Revoltion Black man he
stand tall
White man he stand tall
Who is right who is wrong
Who is there to say
Mandela lies in chains
People must live free
ANC use violence
Botha uses pain
Frenzied violent crowd
People must live free
Soldier fires a bullet
Black man dies in a pool of blood
His family must live free
Son throws a rock
deflects off riot shield
Soldier felt no pain
He learns to use a gun
Soldier felt no pain
Soldier on the run
