The Colour of Violence
by K. Kylyra Ameringer
I see the men wasting away.
And I cry out
Asses
Decadence and excesses
So sure it's not them.
Blue silver touches all those
Who love.
I see the women wasting away.
Always
Inside their homes
Darkened doorways and
Sorrys, now rages at home.
Red rivers flow in the glut of life,
It's the way of things.
I see the children wasting away.
Abyses
Insurmountable, their
Death eyes
Shaded back, to silver and red.
And when it is done,
What will your God say then?
