The Demon of Petty Disturbances: Doh-da - synopsis
Damon Gene Poole has been marked by hell. Recent events in his life have led him inexorably to a small cottage in rural Ireland where he has attempted to resurrect his boyhood dream of becoming an author. Despite retiring to the countryside, his anxiety has continued to mount from unenthusiastic responses to his stories. He is awoken one night, unable to sleep, and completely unaware his life is about to change forever.
Tronaugh, The Demon of Petty Disturbances, and her imp sidekick, DT, reveal themselves abruptly to Damon. A Wrath Department 1st class demon for hell, Tronaugh's job is to provoke selected humans to modify their behaviour through a sequence of seemingly inconsequential annoyances in their lives. Playing on Damon's desire to be a respected author, Tronaugh offers to relate her adventures to Damon and tells him if he writes them down 'they will be best sellers'.
Damon has started down a path that will lead over several novels to his friendly Irish neighbors shunning him, his quiet life turning upside down, and the long established rule and order in hell completely shattering due to his association with Tronaugh.
