TechnoKy’s darkworld – day and night mixes

Using vintage techno sounds and giving more than just a passing nod to the influence of Sven Vaeth, Kylyra conjures up her newest project, TechnoKy. Programming and writing on a Roland MC-303, Kylyra recorded her perfected tracks digitally onto a Fostex D2424LV, ran them through a 16 channel Mackie Onyx board, and gave up final production to two other Dark World producers, J.A. Bohr and Doctor When for the releases darkworld – day mixes, and darkworld – night mixes. Get your dancing shoes ready for a night of pure techno pounding.

TechnoKy’s darkworld – day mixes

TechnoKy’s darkworld – day mixes is packed front to end with vintage techno trance. Using only the classic groove box Roland 303, Kylyra, the genius behind TechnoKy, worked within the Roland 303’s limitations to write the complete darkworld set, a 56 minute non-stop dance groove designed to accompany visitors to Dark World International’s maze area, Mythos 3000. Beginning with the hypnotic No. 9, an obvious tribute to Sven Vaeth’s work, TechnoKy revs up the bpm imperceptibly through tourist, ghost, Planet Earl, goggle vision and finally to panic, providing a one hour dance party for any techno trance fan. Included on the release are quark and DNET, two TechnoKy songs unavailable anywhere else. Produced by J.A.Bohr, darkworld – day mixes plays flawlessly on any small system, providing the full TechnoKy sound for today’s digital market.
